I know it seems early.  Well, frankly it is VERY early to start thinking about the Minnesota State Fair which isn't until August of next year.

Here is the deal, the state fair always has discounted ticket days during the fair like senior day, military day, kids day, and some others where you can save a couple of bucks on your admission tickets.  If you take up one of these discounted deals, you are limited to going to the fair on one of those days.  BUT if you take advantage of this one day deal, you will save $4 on admission and you can go on any day that works with your schedule.

This special discount day for the Minnesota State Fair happens every year, and it's only for one day.  It's a great deal.  There is one thing to make sure of, however.  If you do take this deal and plan WAY ahead, just remember that the fair ticketing office will send your tickets to you via text or email.  But if you choose the mobile route, and next August when you are trying to remember where those tickets are that you purchased - remember that they were sent via text.  I'm saying this because a couple of years ago when I purchased these tickets I was searching my email high and low, and couldn't find them.  So I bought some more thinking I had lost them.  They sent those tickets via text too, that's when I discovered the discounted tickets I had purchased the year prior.  So, write down the text sender so you can easily find them again.  Just some advice if you choose the mobile route.  If you know you will be going to the fair for sure this coming year, get those tickets now!  Save some cash.
