Update: Winter Weather Advisory Continues Friday Afternoon

UNDATED - The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory. It's in effect until 2:00 p.m. on Friday.

Blustery winds will persist today along with areas of light snow over much of Minnesota.

Given the warm ground, most areas will only see minor accumulations over central and southern Minnesota at best. Meanwhile, a rain-snow mix over west central Wisconsin will gradually change to snow briefly tonight before tapering off.

A dry yet cool day is expected Saturday.
