ST. CLOUD -- A juvenile lighting bottle rockets prompted two north St. Cloud schools to go into containment for less than an hour today.

St. Cloud Police were called to the 1000 block of 24th Avenue North at about 2:45 p.m. on a gun complaint. A neighbor called to report hearing possible gun shots and saw a person in a backyard holding what appeared to be a rifle.

Police searched the home and found all of the guns were secure and they had not been fired recently.

A juvenile admitted to lighting off the fireworks.

The call prompted North Junior High and Madison Elementary to go into containment. The all-clear was given at about 3:40 p.m.

No charges are expected against the juvenile.
