Fire Crews Called to Garage Fire Near Avon
AVON -- Fire crews were called to the scene of a garage fire Monday afternoon.
The incident happened at about 3:00 p.m. at 37707 Sunnyfield Circle in Avon Township.
The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says a passerby noticed flames and smoke coming from the garage of a home and called 9-1-1.
Fire crews arrived to find the home fully engulfed, before putting out the blaze.
The homeowners, 78-year-old Willard Hedeen and 71-year-old Joann Hedeen, were not home at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
