East St. Germain Holiday Station Closes Down

ST. CLOUD - An east side St. Cloud gas station-convenience store has closed down.

The Holiday Stationstore at 405 East St. Germain Street has signs posted on its gas pumps and front door saying "Sorry..This Holiday location is closed. Please visit us at any of our other local Holiday Stationstores!"

On Tuesday afternoon, employees could be seen removing items from inside the store.

Becky Estby is the senior vice president of HR and organizational development with Coborns. She gave this statement in regards to the Holiday location closing.

"That store was operated as a Holiday franchise and Holiday has certain standards, we were going to have to make a significant investment in order to meet those standards and we decided that it was just time to exit the location."

Estby says they don't control the property and couldn't speak on the future of the location.
