SARTELL -- A driver was ticketed for rolling through a stop sign, causing a two vehicle crash in Sartell this (Friday) morning.

The incident happened at about 8:00 a.m. at the intersection of Riverside Avenue South and Heritage Drive.

Sartell Police Chief Jim Hughes says 49-year-old Sharon Prososki of Sartell was heading south on Riverside Avenue approaching the intersection when she was hit by a ford pickup, that failed to stop for the stop sign.

The driver of the pickup was 21-year-old Victor Martinez of Rice.

Gold Cross Ambulance was called to the scene but neither driver was taken to the hospital.

Martinez was ticketed for no insurance, driving after revocation, use of unregistered motor vehicle and stop sign violation.
