
Driver Hurt in Single Vehicle Crash Near Melrose
MELROSE -- A teenager was taken to the hospital after a crash near Melrose Tuesday morning.
The Stearns County Sheriff's Office responded at around 8:00 a.m. to the area of County Road 126 near County Road 185, just northwest of Melrose.

Authorities arrived to find the driver lying on the ground next to his vehicle. He told authorities he was not ejected from the vehicle but was experiencing severe back pain and it felt better lying down.
Authorities say the driver left the right side of the road, vaulted a field approached and crashed into a field.
He was taken to Melrose hospital for his injuries.
