Burtrum Man Hurt in Crash Near Upsala

UPSALA -- A Burtrum man was taken to the hospital after a crash earlier this (Saturday) morning.

The incident happened shortly before 2:30 a.m. near Acorn Road in Elmdale Township northwest of Upsala.

The Morrison County Sheriff's Office says 22-year-old Callan Drill was driving southbound on Acorn Road when he lost control and went into the ditch. Drill hit two approaches, struck a telephone pole and his vehicle landed on its side.

Drill was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital with unknown injuries.
