Brian John Braem, 52, Richmond

December 11, 1962 – March 23, 2015

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 28, 2015 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Brian Braem, age 52, who died Monday.

A gathering of friends and relatives will be from 9:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m., Saturday, March 28, 2015 in the church Narthex.

Brian was born to Ivan and Cecelia (Zeller) Braem. He graduated from Gilmanton High School in 1980 then attended Winona Vocational College for farm management. After college he farmed in rural Winona, then was a diesel mechanic and foundry supervisor and most recently worked as a marine service technician. He married Marilyn Tegmeier on October 1, 1983 and together they had two sons, Matthew and Christopher Braem. Brian enjoyed fishing in both summer and winter, gardening / landscaping, woodworking, motorcycle riding, four wheeling, camping and bonfires, and working with machinery. He was an avid animal lover, especially his family’s dogs. He was a member of the Lewiston Sportsman’s Club, Paynesville Sportsman’s Club, Tri-County Rangers Trap Club, and proud member of AA. Brian was also a member of St. Boniface Parish where he was an usher.

Survived by his parents, Ivan and Cecelia; wife, Marilyn; sons, Matthew (Tracy), and Christopher (Ashley); siblings, Lynn (Joe) Tshumper, Larry (Dianna) Braem, Warren (Brenda) Braem, Carleton (Cindy) Braem, Cheryl Braem, and Lori (Mark) Klatt.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arno and Louisa Braem, and Fred and Wilma Zeller.
