Brainerd Man Hurt After Hitting a deer

RICE -- A Brainerd man was hurt when the car he was driving struck a deer. The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened at about 10:00 p.m. Thursday on Highway 25 in Benton County's Graham Township, west of Rice.

Twenty-four-year-old Aaron Ecklund was going south when he hit the deer.

He was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
