UNDATED -- You may notice many more bikes on some central Minnesota roads this week.

The "Bike Around Minnesota" event means 275-300 bicyclists will be traveling through communities like Cold Spring, Albany, Spicer and Hutchinson. The bikers will be using several trunk highways, local routes and paths over the next four days.

The event starts Thursday and runs through Sunday.

MnDOT is reminding you to share the road, keep a safe distance when passing and be prepared to yield.

Bicyclists also need to yield to traffic, ride in the same direction of traffic and obey all traffic control signals.
