Authorities on the Lookout for Piggy Back Bandit

ST. CLOUD - The Piggy Back Bandit may be in the St. Cloud area.

Fargo education officials and police are warning other area schools to keep an eye out for the man known as the "Piggy-Back Bandit".

Authorities say the 250 pound man, also known as 28-year-old Sherwin Shayegan, has a history of conning his way into sports games, and then demanding piggy-back rides from athletes, or simply jumping on their backs.

He's been banned from all North Dakota high schools after an appearance in Bismark last weekend.  He was also at the Concordia College/St. Olaf men's basketball game in Moorhead Wednesday.

He is banned from many schools in Oregon, Washington, and pleaded guilty to assault charges in Montana.

Authorities have reason to believe he may be in the St. Cloud area.
