Area College, University Students Get Diplomas This Weekend

UNDATED - This is gradation weekend for three of our area colleges and universities.

The St. Cloud Technical and Community College will hold it's commencement ceremony at 1:00 p.m. today (Friday) at the St. Cloud Civic Center.

The College of St. Benedict will hold it's 96th annual commencement ceremony at 2:00 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday) in the Clemens Field House/Haehn Campus Center.  The 2011 graduating class includes 482 women, which is the 6th largest class in school history.

The St. John's University commencement is at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday in the Saint John's Abbey and University Church.  The 2011 St. John's graduating class includes 474 undergraduate men, the largest class in school history.  And, when combined with the College of St. Benedict's, this year's combined class of 956 is the largest.
