William ‘Bill’ Latterell, 78, Foley

William 'Bill' Latterell, age 78, of Foley, died Friday, December 18, 2015 at the Foley Nursing Center.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at St. John's Catholic Church, Foley. The Rev. Michael Wolfbauer will officiate. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.

Friends may call from 9 to 11 Tuesday at the church. Service with Dignity provided by the Foley Funeral Home.

William Joseph Latterell was born November 15, 1937 in St. George Township, Benton County to William and Elizabeth (Dziuk) Latterell Sr. He married Nancy Ogg on May 29, 1962 at St. John's Catholic Church. Bill lived and farmed all of his life in St. George Township, Benton County.

He was also a rural mail carrier in Foley for many years. Bill was a hard worker. Farming and family were the most important things in life to him. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy, Foley sons and daughter; Troy (Andrea), Lee's Summit, MO; Kent, Mankato; Stacy (Kerry) Sorensen, Mankato; 4 grandsons; Aidan, Alex, Carson and Nathan and brothers and sisters; Eunice (Alan) Cross, Foley; Tom, Foley; Jim, Foley and Mary Jo (Bob) LaVigne of Clear Lake. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers and sisters; David, Leonard, Cecil, Norb, Lucille Ruhoff and Irene Graham.
