What Is Coming Into The Former Pacific Wok Building In Sartell?

There has been a big hole in the strip mall along Pine Cone Road in Sartell since the closure of Pacific Wok in 2022 and, more recently, the closure of House of Pizza next door. However, a new restaurant appears poised to open in the former Pacific Wok building.

When Pacific Wok closed in 2022, owner Brandon Testa said the closure was temporary and due mainly to staffing issues. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not able to reopen.

The St. Cloud location of the restaurant closed in 2018.

House of Pizza, also owned by Testa, closed its downtown St. Cloud location in July of 2022 and shuttered its Sartell location in February 2024. There is one remaining HOP location at 4040 2nd Street South in St. Cloud.

So, what is coming to the Pac Wok site? Rumor has it, Domino's Pizza will be setting up shop in the corner building. If true, it makes sense since St. Cloud and Sauk Rapids already have Domino's and Sartell does not.  Plus, the Pacific Wok building has a drive-through window, which is always convenient at the Sauk Rapids Domino's location.

We will update this story when we get confirmation of who is taking over the space, but all indications are another pizza place is coming to Sartell. There is no word yet on anything poised to take over the former House of Pizza location next door.
