WAITE PARK -- Improvements to the lobby at Waite Park City Hall continue to go as planned.

Back in September construction began to redesign the front lobby to provide better security and work space for staff.

Waite Park City Administrator Shaunna Johnson says the upgrades include more counter and work space for staff and will have bullet proof windows looking into the administrative offices for better overall safety.

Once the lobby upgrades are taken care of, Johnson says they will look at safety upgrades to the council chambers.

The reconstruction costs is just over $126,000 and should be completed by the end of November.
