WORTHINGTON, Minn. (AP) - The Minnesota State Patrol says 13 people were ejected when a van carrying 15 employees from a meatpacking plant rolled on an icy highway near Worthington.

The crash happened early Thursday on Interstate 90 in southwestern Minnesota.

The patrol says four of the passengers were seriously hurt.

All 15 people in the van are from Sioux Falls, S.D.

Jenny Andersen-Martinez, human resources director for JBS meatpacking in Worthington, tells the Argus Leader the 15 people all work for JBS but commute in a personal vehicle from Sioux Falls because of a housing shortage. She says their shift ended around 1 a.m.

All 15 initially were treated at Sanford Worthington Medical Center. Nine were discharged, but one patient remained at the Worthington hospital and five others were transported to Sioux Falls.
