Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:30PM Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at the Church of St. Paul in St. Cloud for Valeria J. Harlander who died Friday at Quiet Oaks Hospice House. Burial will be at Assumption Cemetery in St. Cloud. Visitation will be from 4-8PM Tuesday at the Williams Dingmann Funeral Home in St. Cloud and 1 hour prior to services Wednesday at the church in St. Cloud. St. Paul’s parish prayers will be at 6PM Tuesday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.

Valeria was born in Opole to Joseph & Constance (Warzecha) Pintok. She grew up in the Opole area and graduated from Holdingford High School in 1946. After graduation she moved to Minneapolis years and worked at Dun & Bradstreet. She married Alvin Harlander on October 24, 1955 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Opole. They moved to St. Cloud in 1966 where they raised their family. She was a very active member of the Church of St. Paul and the Christian Woman’s group along with many other volunteer organizations.

Survivors include her children, Connie (Mike) Toninato of Woodbury; Michael (Maureen) Harlander of Chanhassen; Sharon Harlander of Fridley; sisters and brothers, Appolonia Wentland of Holdingford; Emil (Marcella) Pintok of St. Cloud; Raymond (Bernadette) Pintok of Opole; Marcie Ann (Charles) Cichon of Little Falls; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Alvin on March 27, 1998, sisters, Rita Krych, Annette Marsolek, Angeline Nentl, infant son, Frank Joseph, and infant twin grandchildren, Ryan & Alyssa.
