Two Hurt In ATV Crash Near Royalton

ROYALTON -- Two people are hurt after rolling their ATV this weekend.

The incident happened at about 10:00 p.m. Saturday on 230th Avenue in Buckman Township, east of Royalton.

Morrison County Sheriff Shawn Larsen says 28-year-old Kylie Pickar, of Royalton, was driving a side-by-side ATV with her passenger, 26-year-old Ellissia Manea, of Royalton.

The two were traveling north on 230th Avenue when Pickar swerved to miss a pedestrian that ran onto the roadway. She lost control of the ATV, went into the ditch and rolled.

Pickar was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with unknown injuries. Manea was taken to St. Gabriel's Hospital for her injuries. She was treated and released.
