SARTELL -- Coming in at number four in our Top 10 stories of 2014 here on WJON, the unsolved murder of Sartell native Tom Bearson.

Detectives continue to investigate the murder case of 18-year-old Tom Bearson.

The North Dakota State University freshman was last seen alive on September 20th around 3:30 a.m. outside of a home in Fargo.

Police found his body three days later on the property of Larry's RV Sales in Moorhead.

His death has been ruled a homicide, but no arrests have been made.

Lt. Tory Jacobson, with the Moorhead Police Department, says the investigation remains active and there are still many questions.

Over 1,200 people attended his funeral sharing memories of how outgoing he was, his smile and his love for sports.

Jacobson says they remain in frequent contact with Bearson's parents and continue to keep the information out there in hopes someone can recall something from that night.

Bearson was a nursing student at NDSU and graduated from Sartell-St. Stephen high school this past spring.
