Three Hurt in St. Joseph Crash

ST. JOSEPH TOWNSHIP -- Three people were hurt in a crash at the Intersection of Stearns County Road 2 and interstate 94 in St. Joseph Township.

Stearns County Sheriff's officials say 77-year-old Kenneth Hiemenz was stopped on County Road 2 waiting to make a left turn when he was hit from behind by 74-year-old Gerald Schwegel.

Both men are from St. Joseph.

A passenger in the first vehicle, 50-year-old Thomas Hiemenz of Shoreview and the other two men were taken to St. Cloud Hospital by ambulance.

Their conditions are unknown.
