    Cherish the Ladies: A Celtic Christmas

    Enjoy a night of carols inside Escher Auditorium Thursday night. In their beloved Celtic Christmas program, Cherish the Ladies put their signature mark on classic carols. The group has collaborated with The Boston Pops, Vince Gill, Pete Seeger, Don Henley, Arlo Guthrie and more. Tickets for the show are $36 and going fast. Show time is set for 7:30 p.m. at the College of St. Benedict.

    Laughing All the Way

    St. Cloud

    What has become a local holiday favorite returns to the stage this week. The musical comedy "Laughing All The Way" debuts at Pioneer Place on Fifth in downtown St. Cloud this weekend. Now in its 10th season the show has become a holiday tradition for not only the community but the local actors, musicians, writers and technical crew. The show picks up with another adventure for the crew from KLAF as they journey through this years holiday comedy. Tickets for the show start at $25. Show times are Thursday and Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 4:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

    Orchestra Concert

    St. Cloud State University

    Strings Galore will echo through the Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. Enjoy an evening of beautiful music, fun, excitement and camaraderie. This ensemble will perform the classics – from Grieg, Dvorak, all the way to the present day, plus a few surprises! The concert is free and open to the public on Friday Night at 6:00 p.m. on the St. Cloud State University campus.

    Music at St. Mary's

    St. Cloud

    The choral ensembles from St. Cloud State University will present the highly anticipated “Music at St. Mary’s” concert this weekend in downtown St. Cloud. The annual event features a sampling of the finest choral repertoire, and will include performances by SCSU’s Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, Women’s Choir and Men’s Choir, with guest artist, Charles Echols on organ.Tickets at the door are $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, and free w/SCSU ID. A portion of ticket proceeds go toward scholarships for music students. Showtime starts at 7:30 p.m.

    Holiday Classics Retro Series

    Waite Park

    It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and you can celebrate with some of your favorite holiday flicks on the big screen. Marcus Theatres is showing several holiday movies throughout December the whole family will enjoy. This Thursday through Sunday you can see Dr. Seuss How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Elf and White Christmas. All tickets are just $6 per person and show times vary so call in advance.
