Teen From Royalton Hurt After Crashing Dirt Bike
MORRISON COUNTY - A 17-year-old from Royalton is hurt after crashing her dirt bike on Sunday.
The incident happened at 8:10 p.m. near the St. Stanislaus Church in Bowlus.
The Morrison County Sheriff's Office says 17-year-old Rachel Nihart from Royalton was traveling north on 120th Avenue on a dirt bike and was trying to turn east onto Mainstreet.
Authorities say she was traveling too fast and went off the road, through a snow fence and hit an unfinished brick wall.
Nihart was thrown off the bike and was taken by ambulance to St. Gabriel's Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
