Minnesota Wild General Manager Bill Guerin was active on the 2nd and final day of the NHL draft Wednesday. He traded Luke Kunin to Nashville for veteran Chris Bonino and and 2nd round draft pick. Guerin later traded his 6th and 7th round picks for a 5th round choice.

He says Guerin could be positioning himself to make a big move to sign or trade for a veteran goaltender or center or both.

The Vikings won 31-23 at Houston against the Texans Sunday to improve to 1-3. The Bears and Lions both lost Sunday. Jim says the Lions are a mess on defense while the Bears are shaky on offense despite their 3-1 record.
