Stretch Of First Avenue South Closed For Construction

ST. CLOUD - First Avenue South will be closed to through traffic today (Thursday).

The road will be closed from Eight Street to 11^th Street South. Adjacent sidewalks to the construction will also be closed. If weather permits the road and sidewalks will reopen on Friday.

The project is necessary to pave the final wear course on the public improvement project.

Detours for through traffic will not be posted. Motorists are asked to find an alternative route that does not cross this stretch of First Avenue.
