Stearns County Veteran’s Service Office May Move To Westside Service Center

ST. CLOUD -- The Stearns County Board of Commissioners will consider a plan today to move the Veteran's Service Office from downtown St. Cloud to their Westside Service Center in Waite Park.

County Administrator George Rindelaub says there are a few reasons for the move.

First, he says they have limited space in their current location. Also, parking is limited, they can save the approximately $25,000 annual lease payment, there is Metro Bus service to the facility and he says it gives the veterans more privacy.

Rindelaub says if approved, they would move July First.
