Longtime Stearns County Administrator George Rindelaub is retiring. The University of Wisconsin-Madison alum has been Stearns County Administrator for 28 years. He announced today (Tuesday) that his last day will be March 31st.

The Stearns County Board of Commissioners have extended the contract with interim Human Services Director Dave Rooney for about three more weeks. Rooney, who is working in place for the retired Roma Steil, will stay on until the first week of August while the search for a permanent Human Services Administrator continues.
