Stearns County Residents Report Mail Thefts

UNDATED - The Stearns County Sheriff's Office is investigating several reports of mail theft. People in Avon Township, Brockway Township, and the city of Holdingford say they found their mail boxes left open, and the mail missing.

Several of the callers had placed bills in the mailboxes for the carrier to pick-up. Others had been expecting checks to arrive, which may have been stolen.

The Sheriff's Office is asking anyone who may have seen any suspicious people, or vehicles, near mailboxes overnight from last (Monday) night and early this (Tuesday) morning to call their non emergency number at (320) 251-4240.
