Stearns County Forecasting Aggressive Construction Season

ST. CLOUD -- Minnesota's road construction season is just a few months away and Stearns County is gearing up for one of its busiest seasons yet.

County Engineer Jodi Teich says $1,300,000 in new "wheelage tax" money will be combined with $5,000,000 in county bonding to help pay for several resurfacing projects in 2015.

Some of the projects include...

County Road 3 between St. Joseph and Opole,

County Road 2 between Cold Spring and St. Joseph,

County Road 75 from 22nd Street South to 33rd Street South in St. Cloud,

Veterans Drive between Highway 15 and 9th Avenue in St. Cloud,

County Road 137 near Discovery School,

2nd Avenue in Waite Park.
