St. Cloud to Host Snowflake Stroll, German Market, Parade
ST. CLOUD -- Downtown St. Cloud is planning a day full of holiday fun with a new event and a change to a popular event.
The annual Christmas festivities are Saturday, December 14th starting with Winter Wonderland from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Lake George.
Downtown Council Executive Director Jolene Foss says a new event this year is a Snowflake Stroll from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
The Snowflake Stroll is a shopping event, some of our downtown retailers came together to offer some special discounts, prize, hot cocoa, a number of different things going on.
The annual Weihnachtsmarkt -- or German Market -- has been moved to Saturday, December 14th this year and will run from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. in heated tents under the festoon lights on 5th Avenue.
This year's event will feature the ever-popular Gluhwein (hot spiced wine), beer, Daydream Coffee, food selections, holiday pastries, and more from Central Minnesota gift vendors!
The 19th annual Winter Nights and Lights Parade also starts at 5:00 p.m. and runs down St. Germain Street from the library to the River's Edge Convention Center.
