ST. CLOUD - Starting tonight (Friday) St. Cloud State University Husky Hockey games will be broadcast on a new cable TV channel.  The games can be viewed in HD on Charter channel 823, and also in standard definition on channel 426.

Charter will provide a total of 15 telecasts of SCSU hockey this season.

Several other games this season will be broadcast on the CBS Sports Network.

KMSP TV sports director Jim Rich will provide play-by-play, former NHL player Mark Parrish will be doing color.

Coverage of Husky Hockey will be the first school programming produced, as part of an upcoming launch of the St. Cloud State channel.

Tonight's game versus Bemidji State starts at 7:30 p.m.
