The St. Cloud State women's hockey team earned their first tie of the season against Lindenwood University on Friday.

It was the Lions who got out in front first. The Huskies quickly answered with a goal of their own from Mckenna Wesloh tying the game 1-1.

In the second, SCSU took their first lead of the night thanks to a goal by Olivia Cvar. This time it was Lindenwood who responded to tie things at 2-2. Neither team scored in the extra period, and the tied score stood.

The Huskies are now 2-8-1 overall. They will play game two against the Lions on Saturday at 1:10 p.m.
