
Reentry Summit In St. Cloud Aims To Help Formerly Incarcerated
ST. CLOUD (WJON News) -- An event will be held in St. Cloud on Wednesday, bringing together experts who play a role in helping people transition from jail back into society.

The "Reentry Summit 2026: Second Chances - From Confinement to Contribution" is sponsored by St. Cloud's Overcomers International Fellowship Dream Center. It will run from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the Mississippi Room of the Great River Regional Library. It is free and open to everyone.
A panel of experts will share advice and discuss various roles in the reentry process, while also answering audience questions.
Executive Director and Founder of the OIF Dream Center, Pastor Michael Laidlaw says,
"We take our responsibility to public safety and community well-being seriously. Our program delivers daily services, structured programming, and accountability measures designed to support successful reintegration."
Since 1995, the OIF Dream Center has provided structured housing, meals, and mentoring to more than 14,000 men who were either formerly incarcerated, homeless veterans, those dealing with mental illness, chemical dependency, learning disabilities, or other issues.
