St. Cloud Police: Reminder IRS Does Not Accept Payments Over the Phone

ST. CLOUD -- Tax season is here and many have been duped into thinking they've paid their taxes over the phone.

St. Cloud Police Sergeant Jason Burke says the department is receiving numerous calls about IRS phone scams.

Police remind the public to not give out any personal or financial information over the phone and that the IRS does not receive payments over the phone.
