St. Cloud Homeowner Chases Burglar Away

ST. CLOUD - A homeowner scared off a bold burglar in North St. Cloud on Sunday morning.

St. Cloud police say the incident happened just before 9:00 a.m. in the 100 block of 27th Avenue North.

The suspect walked through an unlocked door and began rifling through belongings before he was chased out of the house.

The suspect is described as a white man between 30 and 35 years old, he has a scruffy face, short brown hair, 180 pounds and about 6 feet tall.  Officers initially found the man trying to get away on a bike, but he was able to escape arrest.

He did not get anything from the house.
