St. Cloud Downtown Council to Move, Add East Side Location

ST. CLOUD -- The St. Cloud Downtown Council is moving and expanding.

Executive Director Jolene Foss says their office will now be located at 708 West St. Germain Street, across from Bumbledee's and The Hop Shop, starting December 1st.

Foss says the move will help give them a more visible location and make it easier for downtown businesses to access them.

In addition, Foss says the St. Cloud Downtown Council will also open a second office inside the East Gate Building.

There has not been a focused effort to grow the East Side of downtown. I am interested in building relationships with East Side business owners and property owners. I would like to start by promoting and supporting existing business, then look at how we can grow special events there.

The second location will initially be opened one day a week.

The St. Cloud Downtown Council has been around for over 27 years.
