ST. CLOUD -- After serving as President and CEO of the St. Cloud Downtown Council for the past 16 years, Pegg Gustafson has turned in her resignation.

Gustafson made the announcement Monday in the council's weekly newsletter. She says her resignation will be effective July 7th.

She says her two goals before leaving the Downtown council includes market-rate housing, which will be completed this summer, and the Riverwalk development, which plans for are underway.

Gustafson says she is grateful for the opportunity to represent the organization for the past 16 years.

She has accepted a position as government and member relations director at a credit union that was not named in the announcement.
