St. Cloud Council Members Decide To Review Proposals For Potbelly Pigs As Pets

St. Cloud -- Staff for the city of St. Cloud will draft a resolution that would allow residents to have potbelly pigs as pets.

The City Council voted 5-to-2 to look at some proposals that would allow the animals as pets.

The city's ordinances don't currently cover potbelly pigs under the city's health code.

The council will look at some proposals before deciding whether the pigs should be allowed to be kept as pets.
