Spin Out on Slippery Highway Injures Hutchinson Woman

ELLSWORTH TOWNSHIP -- Frosty roads are considered a factor in a crash that sent a Hutchinson woman to the hospital Monday morning.

The Meeker County Sheriff's Office says 74-year-old Larry Heller of Hutchinson was driving on Highway 18 near Belle Lake when he spun out of control and collided with a vehicle driven by 40-year-old Tiffany Sprenger.

The crash happened around 7:45 a.m. and sent Sprenger to the hospital with minor injuries. Heller was not hurt.
