Special Primary Election In Western Stearns County On Tuesday

UNDATED - Residents in western Stearns County can go to the polls to vote tomorrow (Tuesday).  There's a special primary election for an open District 5 Commissioner's seat.

The top two candidates tomorrow will move on to the special general election on January 28th.

The five candidates on the ballot are: Steve Notch of Freeport, Dave Gamradt of Sauk Centre, Brad Kirckhof of Sauk Centre, Alan Loch of Belgrade, and Jeff Bertram of Paynesville.

The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

The term for the seat expires in January 2015.

The seat became vacant this summer when longtime commissioner Don Otte died of cancer.
