Slippery Roads Factor in Fatal Sherburne County Crash

BIG LAKE -- A Big Lake man is dead after an early morning crash involving slippery roads.

The Sherburne County Sheriff's Department says 39-year-old Steven Baragar was killed when his car struck a tree just after 5:30 a.m.

Witnesses say Baragar was traveling southbound on County Road 15 and had just completed a pass when he lost control of his vehicle.

It's the second fatal crash on County Road 15 in less than a month.
