Sheriff: 1 Arrested, Second Sought in Meire Grove Robbery

MEIRE GROVE - The Stearns County Sheriff's Department has made an arrest in the Meire Grove convenience store robbery.

Information from witnesses and images from surveillance cameras led to the arrest of 21-year-old Matthew Dehncke of Paynesville.  He's expected to be charged with aiding and abetting a robbery.

The Sheriff's office is continuing to look for a second suspect.  They believe he may have fled the state.

During their flight from the scene, the suspect threw a fluorescent green/yellow sweatshirt from their vehicle.  The sweatshirt has a construction company logo on the upper left chest area.  It's believe the sweatshirt is somewhere south of Albany.  If you find it, you're asked to contact the Stearns County Sheriff's Department.
