Sherburne County Picks New Administrator

ELK RIVER -- The Sherburne County Board of Commissioners has picked their new administrator. The board voted this morning to offer the job to Steve Taylor.

Taylor is the current Carver County Assistant Administrator and was picked over four other finalists. He has worked for Carver County for the last eight years. Prior to that, Taylor was the Director of Finance and Administration for the City and County of Denver, Colorado.

If Taylor accepts the position, he'll replace Brian Bensen who retired August First.
