Second Annual Sweet Candy Buy-Back Kicks Off Friday

SARTELL -- Sartell Pediatrics and Pediatric Dentistry PLC are teaming up with BLEND to host their second annual Sweet Candy Buy-Back event tomorrow (Friday).

From 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. you can bring your Halloween candy to Pediatric Dentistry PLC in Sartell to have it weighed and exchange it for cash.

You will also be entered into a drawing for a chance to win an iPad Mini and a bike. Blend will be giving away lunch sacks to the first 600 kids to attend.

The event is held as a way to reduce the amount candy families consume after Halloween. Last year the event collected more than 1,400 pounds of candy.

The sweet treats will be sent overseas to members of the armed forces.
