TYLER, TEXAS -  The St. Cloud Technical And Community College baseball team is playing in the NJCAA Division III World Series down in Tyler, Texas this weekend.

The Cyclones lost a game in the losers bracket tonight (Monday) 9-1 to Herkimer Community College of New York, and have been eliminated from the tournament.  Cam Knudsen took the loss for SCTCC.  Brendan Ashton scored the lone run.

SCTCC ended-up winning one game and losing two in the World Series

They lost to the #1 ranked team, Cumberland Community College of New Jersey, 7-1 last (Sunday) night.  Aaron Roth pitched seven innings for SCTCC and gave up four runs on five hits. Rick Jokela gave up three runs on three hits in two innings. Emmanual Lopez scored the lone run.

SCTCC won their opening game on Saturday 18-11 over Prince George.

The NJCAA Division III World Series is an eight-team tournament being playing in Tyler, Texas.
