ST. CLOUD -- St. Cloud State University will use a $147,000 state grant to develop a training program for Netgain, a healthcare information technology provider headquartered in St. Cloud.

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development gave SCSU the grant to design and implement a training program and advanced training for about 80 Netgain employees.  The grant is through DEED's Minnesota Job Skills Partnership.

Netgain approached SCSU last fall to explore training opportunities in a rapidly growing and changing industry.

Over the next two years, SCSU will develop the program through its Corporate Education & Outreach division.  SCSU's CEO staff will develop and deliver the training to increase Netgain employee knowledge and skill sets.
