Sauk Rapids Police Investigate Pizza Restaurant Robbery

SAUK RAPIDS -- A Sauk Rapids pizza restaurant was robbed Wednesday morning.

Sauk Rapids Police Chief Perry Beise says officers were called to Papa Johns Pizza at 25 North Benton Drive shortly before 10:15 a.m. after a report came in that a robbery occurred.

Police describe the robbery suspect as a black man, that was wearing a ski mask.

The suspect entered the restaurant with a handgun and demanded money. He left the store with an undisclosed amount of money.

No one was hurt. The incident is still under investigation.
