Richmond Woman Hurt in Rockville Crash
ROCKVILLE -- A Richmond woman was pulled from her SUV by the jaws of life Thursday morning.
Stearns County Sheriff Don Gudmundson says the crash happened shortly after 6:00 a.m. near the intersection of County Road 8 and 210th Street in Rockville.
Eighteen-year-old Morgan Hemmesch of Richmond was driving her SUV south on County Road 8 when she lost control on the snow-covered road, went into the ditch and struck several trees before coming to a stop.
Gudmundson says Hemmesch was attempting to go around a curve.
Hemmesch was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
