Randy A. Pflipsen, 57, Rice

August 13, 1957 - September 16, 2014

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sauk Rapids for Randy A. Pflipsen, age 57, who passed away Tuesday as a result of an automobile accident near Rice. Rev. Ralph Zimmerman will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids and one hour prior to the services Monday at the church.

Randy was born Aug. 13, 1957 in St. Cloud to Donald & Rosemary (Ritter) Pflipsen. He was a farmer and lived in the Rice area most of his life. Randy enjoyed fishing, farming and visiting with others. He was giving, sociable, had a great sense of humor, and was a great father to his sons.

Survivors include his sons, Daniel (Amanda) of Rice and Jeremy of Sauk Rapids; grandson, Landon; parents, Donald & Rosemary of Sauk Rapids; and siblings, Chad (Connie) of Sauk Rapids, Terry (Cheryl) of Sauk Rapids, Gregg (Marilee) of Foley, Nancy (Mike) Kuefler of Sauk Rapids, Cindy (Steve) Ritter of Avon, Patty (John) Aschenbrenner of Rice, Suzy (Gary) Kruger of Rice and Jeannie (Darren) Meehl of Popple Creek. Randy was preceded in death by his son, Eric on Oct. 4, 2006; an unborn child; good friend, Paulette; and his dog, Lucky.
