Police: Maple Lake Man Suspected of DUI After Crashing Into Tree

ST. CLOUD - A Maple Lake man is facing DUI charges after crashing into a tree.

St. Cloud Police Sergeant Jason Burke says the accident happen shortly before 9:00 a.m. today (Thursday) at the intersection of Maine Prairie Road and 14th Street South in St. Cloud.

Twenty-two-year-old Robert Paumen struck a tree after veering off the road.

Officers took a blood sample and are waiting for the test results to determine if Paumen was driving under the influence.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash and no one was injured.
